Drive times for each option are: 1.5-hour drive from Yogyakarta to the Borobudur Village, and 1-hour to the Yogyakarta Countryside. Borobudur Village Option: Take a riding journey through the village and visit the Borobudur Temple area. Witness traditional village life by joining the locals in their everyday activities, such as making cassava chips (Manihot Esculenta), learning to play the local music instrument of Gamelan, and strolling through local vegetable gardens. You can choose to experience the tour by a Horse-Cart or by bike.
